Executive Director of the Student Experience | Online Student Success

Liz directs the Office of Online Student Success (OSS) at Syracuse University. In this capacity, she is responsible for the student services portfolio for the College of Professional Studies and Syracuse University Global’s online programs. This includes oversight of inquiry management, admissions, advising, retention, and success strategies for part-time online students. She has been with the College of Professional Studies since 2017, first serving as the Assistant Director of Student Services for summer programs before taking on the creation and implementation of OSS in 2019. Prior to arriving at CPS, Liz spent three years as an Assistant Director in the Office of Student Living at Syracuse University. She has held positions in housing, residence life, enrollment services, and student conduct at Southern Oregon University, Dickinson College, and the University at Buffalo.

Liz’s specific interest areas include the online student experience, organizational development, military student success, staff supervision, program development, crisis management, and coordinated student services efforts. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from SUNY Geneseo and a Master of Education from the University at Buffalo and is currently pursuing a PhD in Higher Education Administration at Syracuse University. She is a Public Affairs Officer in the United States Air Force, serving in the New York Air National Guard. Additionally, she is a trained facilitator and Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.
