Apply for Part-time Study

Admission to Syracuse University is based on a combination of factors. The Admissions team will need to see that you graduated from high school or the equivalent, your standardized test scores, transcripts from all previous undergraduate work, a personal statement, and, if requested, letters of recommendation.

Application Deadlines

Applications are reviewed on a continuing basis, so you can submit an application at any time and start in the following session. To apply for a particular session start term, please use the following application deadlines:

  • Fall 8-Week Session 1: August 8, 2022
  • Fall 8-Week Session 2: October 3, 2022
  • Spring 8-Week Session 1: December 23, 2023
  • Spring 8-Week Session 2: February 20, 2023

START NOW GRANT: Apply and get admitted to be eligible to receive the Start Now Grant which gives you $200 off your first 15 credits in an online undergraduate degree or certificate, an opportunity to save up to $3,000!

  • Application Requirements
    Admissions for Syracuse University’s online MPS in Project Management are accepted on a rolling basis. Note that no GRE/GMAT is required. Here’s what you’ll need to apply.

    • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
    • Official transcript from undergraduate degree-granting college/university only.
    • Two letters of recommendation. If you have graduated in the past three years, one reference should be academic, the other can be professional.
    • A personal statement discussing your motivation for studying project management.
    • A current résumé.

START NOW GRANT: Apply and get admitted to the Project Management, M.P.S. degree for the Spring 2023 semester to be eligible to receive the Start Now Grant which gives you a 44% tuition discount. Discount is good for the first 3 years in which you are enrolled in the program, allowing you to complete your degree for only $30,000 when consecutively enrolling in one course per session.

Register for a course

Part-time students can register for courses without applying to a degree program.
