Dr. Block has an extensive professional background in software engineering, database design and modeling, and data analytics, across a variety of industries, such as logistics, finance, and manufacturing. Dr. Block received a Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 2013 in Computer Information Systems, and an MBA from California State University Dominguez Hills in 2004. He has been teaching at the Syracuse University School of Information Studies (iSchool) since 2018, and has designed several courses in the Syracuse University College of Professional Studies.
