Tara is a graduate of William Smith College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Media & Society in 2012. She traveled to Costa Rica to obtain her 160-hour TEFL certification, and shortly after moved to South Korea to teach at Avalon English for a year. In 2019, she graduated from Arizona State University with a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction for ESL. Today, Tara is an Instructional Language Coordinator at the English Language Institute as well as a part-time faculty member with the College of Professional Studies where she teaches FYS 101.
