Non-Credit Class Instructions for Registration

Before you Begin

Before you attempt to register, all MySlice browsers must be closed in order to prevent registration errors. You must also clear your cache. If you experience any problems please contact us directly at bursareg@uc.syr.edu, 315-443-4135 or via chat. We are here to assist you through this process.  

Prior to registering for a non credit class, please make sure you have a 5 digit code for the class. If you do not know your code, please contact the department offering the course to obtain a 5 digit code. Once you have a code, visit
Syracuse University’s Non-Credit Registration Portal.

Do you have a prior affiliation with Syracuse University? 

Determine if you have an existing NetID or if you will be considered  a new student.

  1. Existing NetID – You may have an existing NetID if you meet any of the following criteria:

    -Spouse or dependent of a current or former Syracuse University employee.
    -Former or current Syracuse University Project Advance Student
    -Have applied for admission to Syracuse University or the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
    -Are a current Syracuse University or the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry student.

    If you have a NetID and don’t know what it is, forgot your password, or need to activate it please visit Syracuse University Self-Serv.  If are uncertain if you have a NetID, please contact our Bursar/Registration department at 315.443.4135 or bursareg@syr.edu.

  2. New Student – You are considered a new student if you are new to Syracuse University and do not meet any of the above Existing NetID criteria.
