Syracuse University’s College of Professional Studies offers undergraduate degrees and credentials designed specifically for students who need to balance their studies with careers or other obligations.
Part-Time On Campus Degrees
As your pathway to a part-time degree, the College of Professional Studies provides access to over 100 degrees available on campus that can be completed with variety of course formats, including evening, weekend, online, on campus and condensed classes.

Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program
If you dream of going to college for the first time, but don’t think you have the money, grades or time to make it happen, HEOP may be able to help. The College of Professional Studies is the home of New York State’s only HEOP program for part-time students. The program covers the majority of expenses incurred as a Syracuse University student.

Transfer Credit
Syracuse University grants transfer credit based on the content of courses previously completed, their applicability to the intended program, and the quality of the student’s performance. Reach out to our admissions team to discuss credit you have earned at other higher education institutions to determine how the credits may apply to your intended degree program.
Students may also be eligible to assess for experiential learning credit through a highly individualized process that will offer you the opportunity to petition for college credit for the knowledge, training, and skills you have previously gained through a broad range of experiences outside of the traditional academic setting.
