This is where you start your personal learning pathway.
You think out of the box, and so do we. The best learning takes place when you’re ready for it, and the most motivating learning takes place in chunks – bits of practical knowledge, sequenced so you can absorb them, with something to show for completing each chunk. Targeted to your goals, these step-by-step, non-credit, non-traditional learning opportunities help you to gain real-world skills in areas that you want to learn about, including training toward professional certification exams in several cases. Best of all, you’ll receive a Syracuse University microcredential to show for your learning, sent to you upon successful completion of your training. This comes in the form of a digital badge and/or digital certificate that you can share with your world, each bearing the Syracuse University mark of quality that is recognizable everywhere!

Collaborative for Accessibility and Entrepreneurship
In 2024, Syracuse University initiated the Collaborative for Accessibility and Entrepreneurship, made possible in part by the Einhorn Family Fund for Disability Entrepreneurship, which was founded by Steven Einhorn’64, G’67 and Sherry Einhorn ‘65. One important mission of the Collaborative is to provide a dedicated in-depth curriculum of best practices in producing accessible documents, web and mobile apps, and no-code websites across platforms. Educational sessions that focus on these topics can be made available to a wide variety of organizations in many delivery modes. The second mission of the Academy combines empowerment, technology and disability-leadership – vital pieces in building digital accessibility, entrepreneurship and economic inclusion. In both of these missions, the Collaborative promotes a disability-first model of teaching and research, namely “nothing about us without us” – leveraging the power of disabled leaders to institute positive change in existing organizations, and to provide access to entrepreneurship opportunities for people with disabilities across all disciplines.
