Convocation

College of Professional Studies students work long and hard to earn their associate or bachelor’s degree, and the pride and satisfaction of finally reaching that goal is worth celebrating.

Computer Labs

College of Professional Studies students can always access a computer on campus, whether you have a laptop or not. There’s a designated computer lab at the College of Professional Studies (Room 003) with 23 computers and a printer. There are also computer clusters across campus that are available to College of Professional Studies students.

Honor Society

Alpha Sigma Lambda (ASL) recognizes the accomplishments of adults who achieve excellence in their studies as nontraditional students. ASL was founded in 1945-46 and is the country’s oldest and largest chapter-based honor society for nontraditional students. The Syracuse chapter was established in 1977. Candidates must be academically strong and matriculated in a degree program.

Nanhi Kali

The Nanhi Kali Syracuse University Chapter is sponsored by the College of Professional Studies at Syracuse University, and is open to participation by students across the university graduate, undergraduate and online. Nanhi Kali is a project of the Mahindra Foundation of India, supporting education for underprivileged girls.
