Admission to Syracuse University is based on a combination of factors. The College of Professional Studies Admissions Office will review your application when all required materials are received and email you when a decision has been made.

Application Deadlines
Applications are reviewed on a continuing basis, so you can submit an application at any time and start in the next available session. Applications will not be reviewed until all application requirements have been met. Deadlines for completed applications are at 5 p.m. Eastern time as follows:
Online Programs
- Summer 2025 8-Week Session 1: April 7, 2025
- Summer 2025 8-Week Session 2: June 2, 2025 (available for BPS, BLS and AA degrees only)
- Fall 2025 8-Week Session 1: July 28, 2025
- Fall 2025 8-Week Session 2: September 22, 2025 (available for BPS, BLS and AA degrees only)
- Spring 2026 8-Week Session 1: December 15, 2025
- Spring 2026 8-Week Session 2: February 9, 2026 (available for BPS, BLS and AA degrees only)
- The Cannabis Studies online certificate will only accept applications to start in session 1 in fall and spring terms.

Part-time students can register for classes without applying to a degree program.
- All new undergraduate students register for individual classes via our online registration process.
- Returning students should register for classes via MySlice.
