Dr. Bob Carmickle has over 22 years of professional leadership experience in a variety of private and government leadership positions, primarily leading technical organizations with a focus on modernization and innovation. In addition to a Ph.D., Dr. Carmickle has a Master’s degree from Syracuse University, a Chief Information Officer (CIO) designation from National Defense University (NDU), is a Harvard Senior Executive Fellow, and is a graduate from Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) with certificates in Space Systems Operations and Information Systems Technology. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
Dr. Carmickle values the importance of education and considers himself a life-long leaner. He has collegiate level teaching experience in various distance education courses and is designated as a Master Training Specialist.
