Stew Koenig PortraitStewart KoenigAs president of Koenig Advertising Public Relations in Syracuse, Stew has more than 35 years of hands-on experience working with manufacturers, service businesses, government and not-for-profits, planning and implementing their marketing communications programs.

Stew holds an MA in public relations from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public           Communication, an MBA in marketing from Syracuse University’s School of Management and a BA in Political Science and American Studies from SUNY Oswego.

He has developed and currently teaches, “Assertiveness in the Workplace”, for University College based on years of management training in the industry.  Stew is also an adjunct professor at Columbia College, Hancock Extension, Keuka College and Onondaga Community College, where he teaches marketing, communications and management courses.

Stew is deeply involved in the community having served as Board President of the Consortium for Children’s Services, Board Member of the Rape Crisis Center and as a graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse, and recently was 1st Vice President -Trustee of Temple Concord.  Stew is also chair of the City of Syracuse Board of Zoning Appeals.
