Katherine J. Sosa is a Consultant and Trainer in Organizational Development for Neil Katz and Associates in the areas of leadership development, workplace training, employee coaching, and negotiation, among others. Client sectors include non-profits, human resource departments, university management and personnel, security departments, tribal leadership and youth development. Prior to working in higher education, she served as Violence Prevention Manager at Women in Distress, one of the largest domestic violence organizations in Florida. Current areas of research include reducing the cost of workplace conflict in organizations as well as the impact of experiential courses in conflict resolution higher education. Sosa holds a M.S. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University and B.S. in International Affairs from Florida State University. She is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs dedicated to community improvement, a small business owner and resides in South Florida with her daughter and partner.
