Michael Evans is a professor, author, and consultant. He has worked with numerous federal agencies and private firms, providing professional and organizational development, including the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Environmental Protection Agency, United States Secret Service, Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives, Social Security Administration, Internal Revenue Service, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Patent Trade Office, Harley Davidson, and Tropicana.Prior to his consulting career, he served in the U.S. Navy Seabees as a field engineer and material logistics officer, where he completed one tour on the Antarctica, Operation Deep Freeze. He was awarded the Navy Marine Corps Medal for heroism (a U.S. Presidential Medal), and the Navy Achievement Medal by the Secretary of the Navy. Evans is a graduate of Syracuse University and the University of Sarasota with a B.S. in Policy Studies, M.A. in Secondary Education, M.P.A. (Masters in Public Administration), and an Ed.D. in Leadership and Behavior Sciences. He resides in Oneida, New York, where he and his family enjoy their 90 acre farm.
